The Equal Representation in Arbitration (ERA) Pledge Young Practitioners subcommittee are hosting a webinar titled “Getting your first appointment – insights from practitioners” on Tuesday 20 October 2020 at 11:00 BST.
The ERA Pledge is an initiative to improve the profile and visibility of female arbitrators. This talk is part of the “Push for parity” webinar series designed to provide a discussion platform and practical advice for those looking ahead to succeed as an arbitrator.
The webinar features female practitioners and their experiences in obtaining their first arbitral appointments and explores the role of institutions and sponsors in the industry.
Speakers include Krystle Baptista Serna (Arbitrator), Ruth M.D. Byrne (Partner, King & Spalding), Dr Mariel Dimsey (Partner, CMS Hasche Sigle, Hong Kong LLP) and Angharad Parry (Barrister, Twenty Essex).
