On 31 May 2017 GAR Live introduced a new style of session – the GAR Live Inquisition. Duncan Matthews QC (20 Essex Street), Audley Sheppard QC (Clifford Chance), Wendy Miles QC (Debevoise & Plimpton) and Alejandro Escobar (Baker Botts) were grilled by David Rivkin QC (Debevoise & Plimpton) and Lisa Bingham (PCA) on whether arbitrators ‘make’ international law.
A review of the event and edited transcript can be read on the GAR website.
