International Arbitration Silk of the Year: Duncan Matthews QC

Members of chambers congratulate Duncan Matthews QC on being named "International Arbitration Silk of the Year" by The Legal 500.

Described in the latest edition of their directory as “unbelievably awesome, and one of the top silks in London”, Duncan is in high demand both in the UK and internationally.

Earlier this year Duncan was appointed Co-Head of Chambers (alongside Christopher Hancock QC).

20 Essex Street was also nominated for EU & Competition Set of the Year (see The Legal 500 website). Recent cases involving members of chambers include National Grid v ABB, "Air Cargo" (Emerald Supplies Limited and Others v British Airways) and Deutsche Bahn AG & others v Morgan Advanced Materials PLC & others.
