Procedural Issues in International Dispute Settlement

Monica Feria-Tinta joins esteemed panel at Palais des Nations, UN Geneva

 

Monica Feria Tinta will be speaking on “Procedural Issues in International Dispute Settlement” at the inaugural International Law Seminar Alumni Network Conference taking place on 19 July at the Palais de Nations, United Nations, in Geneva, as part of the 2019 International Law Seminar.

Monica will be joining an esteemed panel comprised by Dr Philippe Gautier (Registrar, International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea), Judge Raul Pangalangan (International Criminal Court), and Antonios Abou Kasm (Director and Professor of International Law at Lebanese University), moderated by Dr Brian McGarry.

The Keynote address will be delivered by Professor Emeritus (Humbolt University of Berlin) and former member of the International Law Commission, Christian Tomuschat.

The event will be attended by current and former members of the International Law Commission, and the International Law Seminar.

The International Law Commission undertakes the mandate of the UN General Assembly  under the UN Charter, to “undertake studies and make recommendations for the purpose of encouraging the progressive development of International law and its codification”.
