The members of 20 Essex Street are delighted to announce the official opening of their office in Maxwell Chambers, Singapore, on 20 January 2010. Head of Chambers, Iain Milligan QC, travelled to Singapore with some 20 members of Chambers and senior clerks Brian Lee and Mathew Kesbey for the opening week, marked by presentations to the Singapore Law Society, the Singapore Chamber of Maritime Arbitration and local law firms, and a launch reception attended by over 150 guests. Speaking at the launch reception, Head of Chambers congratulated the Singapore Government on its initiative to establish the world’s first integrated disputes resolution facility, and welcomed the opportunity for members of 20 Essex Street to be involved in its long-term success.
