The members of 20 Essex Street are pleased to announce that Tony Beswetherick (formerly of Enterprise Chambers) has now joined Chambers. Tony has a broad commercial practice with particular expertise in insolvency and company law. He has recently been instructed in relation to the liquidation of the Aquascutum clothing brand (by the liquidators) and in relation to the administration of the Chez Gerard restaurant group (by the administrators). He is also presently instructed in a large-scale dispute regarding the exploitation of an oil development site in the Republic of Georgia, and has on-going instructions in relation to a number of contentious disputes arising from directors’ misfeasance.


Iain Milligan QC, Head of Chambers at 20 Essex Street says: “We are delighted that Tony Beswetherick is joining us at 20 Essex Street.
