On 1 July 2019, Twenty Essex will hold a panel session titled “Shots across the bows – Preliminary skirmishes sweep London’s courts” at the Commercial Litigation Summit, hosted by Legal Business. The session will discuss the increase of preliminary battles in commercial disputes and debate the willingness of the courts to extend pre-emptive remedies, to assert jurisdiction and the upswing of judges pushing back in abuse of early remedy procedures.
Paul Lowenstein QC of Twenty Essex, chair, will be joined by speakers Philip Riches (Twenty Essex), Simon Bushell (Signature Litigation) and Jane Colston (Brown Rudnick).
