Andrew Dinsmore is hosting a workshop with Iain Quirk KC (Essex Court Chambers) at the Chancery Bar Association’s Annual Conference on 13 January 2023 on the rule against reflective loss.
Andrew will be taking delegates through the main authorities, including Marex v Sevilleja [2020] UKSC 31 in which David Lewis KC and Richard Greenberg appeared. The workshop will look at several scenarios which test the boundaries of the rule, and its rationale, before concluding with a discussion on the future of the rule in this jurisdiction and offshore.
Please get in touch if you would like a copy of the handout, which will be available after the workshop.
