Twenty Essex is pleased to announce that Karen Petch has been named a Fellow in INSOL International’s 2024/25 class of inductees, having completed the Global Insolvency Practice Course (GIPC).

Karen is a member of a class of 24 new INSOL Fellows from around the globe, who are being recognised for their international insolvency qualifications.

Speaking on the GIPC and her appointment as a Fellow, Karen commented:

“The INSOL Fellows include amongst their ranks some of the finest practitioners in insolvency and restructuring worldwide. I’m thrilled to join ​them, and I look forward to celebrating at INSOL International’s conference here in London in 2026.”

INSOL International is a worldwide federation of national associations of accountants and lawyers who specialise in turnaround and insolvency. There are currently over 44 Member Associations with over 12,000 professionals participating as members of INSOL International.

Karen has over 15 years’ experience of international commercial litigation and arbitration. She has specialist experience in banking and financial services, insolvency and company law, fraud and asset tracing and private international law matters.  Many of her cases involve cross-border issues and complex financial structures. Karen also specialises in urgent injunctive relief, including freezing orders, search orders and receivership orders.
