Twenty Essex is deeply saddened to report the passing of Nicholas Legh-Jones KC on Christmas Day.
Nicholas began practising from Chambers (then 3 Essex Court) in 1969. He was appointed QC in 1987 and had a long and successful career at the Bar.
He was also a Visiting Professor at King’s College, London, a much in-demand arbitrator, and the renowned editor of ‘MacGillivray on Insurance Law’ for many years.
The sharpness of his legal mind was matched by his kindness, humour and generosity with his time. He will be very much missed.
The thoughts of all at Twenty Essex are with Nicholas’s loved ones.
