Sudhanshu Swaroop QC to speak on “Climate Change and International Disputes”

On Wednesday 20 October 2021 at 9:30 BST, Sudhanshu Swaroop QC will take part in a panel discussing climate change and international disputes. This will be the third webinar of The Public International Law Webinar Series, which brings together leading public international law practitioners, academics and arbitrators to discuss topical issues of global importance.

This webinar will cover international law agreements – such as the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea, the Energy Charter Treaty, and the Paris Agreement – and explore their relation to climate change. The panellists will focus on dispute settlement mechanisms, cases relating to climate change in international courts and tribunals and the interplay between treaties, investors and corporations.
