Three arbitrator members of 20 Essex Street have been named by “The American Lawyer” in their bi-annual list of “Top Ten Arbitrators“: The Honorable Charles Brower (No. 1), Yves Fortier QC (No. 5) and Professor Francisco Orrego Vicuna (No. 8). The publication notes that Judge Brower, “[t]he reigning king of international arbitrators,” has occupied the top spot on three consecutive occasions (also in 2011 and 2009) and that prior to this Mr Fortier headed the list for three consecutive times (in 2007, 2005 and 2003), with both arbitrators being listed amongst the top ten for the last decade.
